Greetings, it’s time for me to drop in, say hello and drop off a few doors but this time you’re going to have to do some work to find them these photos. The photos were taken during my last doorscursion in the San Francisco Mission District on the Day of the Dead celebration (see my last post, Street Art).
Starting off easy.

Hope you found all these doors and the artwork interesting!
Thank you for visiting my post and thanks again to Norm 2.0 for his creation of the Thursday Doors website that gives us bloggers an outlet to let our thoughts be put on paper or in this case, web space. For more posts and photos of doors by others please go to: Thursday Doors.
I think I found them all! The murals are so interesting and colorful. It’s been a minute since I last shot the Day of the Dead parade. What fun and a challenging venue! I hope you share some of your images from the parade.

Thank you so much, Deborah! Unfortunately, it was such a long day, starting with the sunrise shoot at Crissy Field, then heading to the new Chase Center Arena to see the Golden Warriors’ new home, then the long walk to the Mission Street District for some street photography, some of us didn’t go back for the Day of the Dead Parade at night; I guess I’m getting too old for morning to dusk shoots with about 7 miles of walking in between. We did see some face paintings in celebration of the Day of the Dead which I could post.

Awesome! I’d like to see those faces. Yeah, my left hip bugs me sometimes after long days of hiking and walking. Muni and Uber would be good choices and meet everyone later. 😀

These are awesome. That one wrap-around mural in the 3rd shot is pretty cool and you found some super fun doors too!

Thank you, Norm! It was a fun shoot and when I saw that the artwork covered many doors I knew this was a great doorscursion.
