This week, I drove down the coast to do an errand which inadvertently turned into a drive-by doorscursion in Half Moon Bay. I didn’t get out of my car because we were experiencing gale force winds on the coast that day so I just took a couple of cellphone shots for this week’s Thursday Doors.
I passed this house with such a cool fence; the door with flowers and fence pickets with a pitchfork!
Then, I found another barn, Andreotti’s Barn, which happens to be a farmer’s market since 1929. It was closed and I didn’t have any history on it so I googled the name and found this information: Barn
Thank you for visiting my post and thanks again to Norm 2.0 for his creation of the Thursday Doors website that gives us bloggers an outlet to let our thoughts be put on paper or in this case, web space. For more posts and photos of doors by others please go to: Thursday Doors.
That first one must be a Two-door. 🙂 Ha! I just couldn’t resist. But it’s a great house and the barn is full of character.

You noticed! 😉 Thanks, Janet! Sometimes we get lucky and doors just open for us when we least expect it.

I love that red door with open window to frame the flowers behind it in the yard. Very clever! That old barn is lovely too. You had a great doorscursion!

Thanks, Deborah! Guess the door elves are telling me it’s time to go hunting for doors again.

Love that first one. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an actual door used as a fence gate before. That is so original.
And then there’s the barn, well, who doesn’t love barns? Good post!

Thank you Norm! These doors must have been a sign to get out for more doorscursions so I hope to get back into action more frequently.

Thanks Helen. Did you notice the Half Moon Bay (HMB) initials on the Barn?

Oh! My initials on your barn 😊 And it looks as old as me!

HaHa; not old, shall we say mature?

Great images, considering the windy day and they were taken from your car. That old barn is a beauty, lovely to think of the family running their farm for almost 100 years.

Thank you, Jean. I found out after looking up that family farm’s business that there are probably other barns scattered along the inroads of the coast. I’ll have to go hunting for them.
